FAQs and Payment Options
Payment Options
Any event or network meeting, we advertise for in advance, will require registration beforehand, for catering/operational requirements etc. Once you have registered (via email), a registration/reply email will be sent back, indicating payment options, terms and conditions in relation to the event advertised.
Prepayment is required prior to the event or close off date, the date will be emailed to you, along with payment options. Prepayment is required before any event. We do offer HBW members, the option of payment at the door of the event.
As of 1st November 2009 we offer two options for payment, online banking and payment via credit card.
Online Banking - standard cash door entry charge applies (member or casual rate), price will be indicated within the advertising of the event/network meeting
Credit Card - if you chose this option, the interchange charge is passed onto you, the consumer. This charge ranges between 4 - 5%. This percentage will be charged on top of the advertised cash price/door entry charge.
Only once the payment has been received, your registration will be confirmed. We are unable to issue a refund, if under 3 business days before the event (this will depend on the event - larger ones 10 business days beforehand).
You would need to advise us the Friday prior to the event (or as advised via the registration email) should you wish to cancel your registration and receive a refund if you have paid (if you paid via credit card, the cash price will be refunded via online banking only).
After the nominated close out day (as indicated in the registration email), we would of committed to catering plus other expenses therefore we would require payment regardless. No transfers to the next meeting. Substitutes allowed.
Members who have chosen the payment at the door option, if for some unknown reason they are unable to attend the event after the 3 business days notice, payment will still be required and will be invoiced accordingly. Payment is then required within 7 days from the day of the invoice. If this has been unpaid, we will pass it onto the appropriate agency.
